Housers is jointly edited by Adam Rust and Peter Skillern.  They are the Research Director and Executive Director of the Community Reinvestment Association of North Carolina.  CRA-NC is a 501 (c) 3, based in Durham, North Carolina.  Since 1998, we have been advocates seeking to help low-income and minority communities gain access to capital.  CRA-NC has reached agreements to secure more than $400 million in funds for home mortgages and small business loans to these groups.

We advocate on a variety of issues from home mortgage lending to aspects of consumer finance. As our name implies, we support the Community Reinvestment Act and work to secure the promise outlined by its enactment in 1977.
